Accountable Care Organizations have emerged as one of the components of health reform generating the highest level of long-range interest, and potentially significant implications, for health care stakeholders, and represent a strategic opportunity for physicians and hospitals as well as health plans and employers.

Recognizing that moving towards more structured payment models and clinical integration is a major transition for most organizations, Mr. William DeMarco of Pendulum HealthCare Development Corporation returns to build upon his ACO overview Healthcare Web Summit event: "Accountable Care Organizations: A New Pathway for Physicians and Hospitals" that was offered in April, 2010.

William J. DeMarco MA CMC is the President & Chief Executive Officer of Pendulum Health Development Corporation, and DeMarco & Associates, Inc., a national, independent healthcare consulting firm specializing in healthcare delivery system redesign and transformation. The firm specializes in research and strategy development, organization development of successful provider owned enterprises and marketing management including product design and promotion. Mr DeMarco is recognized as a leader in the research, design and implementation of community based healthplans.
