The COVID-19 pandemic has put tremendous stress on the US healthcare system. In this 60-minute webinar learn how both LexisNexis Risk Solutions and Blue Health Intelligence are contributing innovative solutions that healthcare leaders can use to better predict and prevent public health risk. The webinar will include two important presentations:

LexisNexis Risk Solutions: Data for Good: Using Data to Identify Vulnerable Populations and Care Resource Gaps - with Richard Grape, Director Market Planning, LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Health Care

LexisNexis Risk Solutions will discuss how the abundance of demand for healthcare access, mixed with a finite number of care resources, has highlighted the need for insights into the most vulnerable of populations. Social determinants of health (SDOH) data, along with provider and claims intelligence, can help healthcare organizations sharpen their focus as they combat the virus’s impact, helping to identify those communities at risk for poor health outcomes and/or those most in need of critical care resources.

Attendees to this presentation will learn: How various data sources can be utilized to help communities evaluate their risk; What types of data can influence high or low risk (i.e., co-morbidities); and How risk identification might be used to support virus response efforts

Blue Health Intelligence® (BHI®): Getting Ahead of COVID-19 Using Advanced Analytics and Reporting with Mary Henderson, Senior Vice President of Product Development and Account Management, Blue Health Intelligence

BHI will share how the combination of deep data, advanced modeling skills, and clinical expertise are producing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics that can help healthcare leaders better address the pandemic by:

  • Combining AI and clinical informatics to predict, identify, and cluster the most at-risk member cohorts and prescribe more targeted interventions.
  • Designing peer-reviewed studies to assess the economic, social, and public health implications of recent COVID-19 policies and actions.
  • Using our Whyzen solution to help health plans, employers, and brokers explore account-level population risks for COVID-19 and incorporate new data as our collective understanding of the disease evolves.

Attendees to this presentation will learn how a range of data and analytic assets are being combined at the national and account levels to more accurately assess risks and the vulnerability of key populations.
